COVID-19 Information
Whilst the COVID-19 pandemic remains we will be required to run with restricted numbers to enable us to comply with the requirements and recommendations of the Swimming Teachers Association for both your child’s protection and that of the teachers.
Your child should be swim-ready (swimwear already on as you come in). One parent (wearing a mask) can take the child to the poolside. Balcony and foyer viewing is closed so please leave the building during your child’s lesson.
Teachers will be visored and/or masked and will only teach from the poolside. A parent of non swimmers (pre-stage and stage 1) will be required to go in the pool with their child.
We will take as many swimmers into classes as we are allowed for social distancing as there will be fewer classes each day to enable thorough cleansing of equipment between classes.
Since the 3rd of October we have been trialing the new procedures which are working well and from the 7th November will be restarting the next series of 10 week courses. At present we have a limited number of spaces available and would ask you to fill in the application form on the website to find if there’s a space to suit you.
